Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Skin Sirens LA ("we," "us") handles information collected through skinsirensla.com (the "Site"). It is posted in accordance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA).
Information we collect
- Information you send us. If you email, call or text us, or submit an appointment request form on the Site, we receive what you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, email address, preferred appointment time and the content of your message. Online appointment bookings on our landing pages are handled by our scheduling provider, Cal.com, under its own privacy policy.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type and pages visited, for security and to keep the Site running.
The Site itself does not collect medical information. Please do not send health details by email. We will discuss them privately during your consultation.
Online booking
Appointments are booked through Portrait, our third-party scheduling and patient-records platform. Information you enter there is collected and protected by Portrait under its own privacy policy and applicable health privacy laws, including HIPAA.
How we use your information
- To respond to your questions and schedule appointments
- To send you updates or offers if you have asked to receive them (you can opt out at any time)
- To operate, secure and improve the Site
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our practice (such as our booking, email and website-hosting providers), when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our patients and practice.
Third-party links
The Site links to outside services such as Instagram and Portrait. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. The Site does not currently respond to these signals, because it does not use cross-site tracking or behavioral advertising tools.
Your California privacy rights
California residents may request information about how their personal information is used, ask us to correct or delete information we hold, and opt out of marketing messages. To make a request, email us at the address below.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last revised.
